On February 10, 2026, Dynapack Asia formally launched NICE (No Incident Culture), a group-wide positioning safety as a strategic organizational discipline rather than a compliance obligation. The initiative was introduced during the Annual Health & Safety Strategic Meeting on the 7th floor of Dynaplast Tower, Tangerang Regency. The program has been designated the company’s “Golden Target” for 2026, signaling leadership’s intention to embed safety deeply into operational culture across Southeast Asia and China. The initiative emerged from a comprehensive 2025 performance evaluation. While technical safety systems were already well established, incident trend analysis highlighted three organizational imperatives: stronger visible leadership commitment, a transition from a calculative safety mindset toward a generative culture, and greater employee participation in near-miss reporting. NICE represents a strategic response, reframing safety as a shared behavioral responsibility rather than a technical control issue alone.
Two foundational pillars guide implementation. The first is Involvement, emphasizing multi-stakeholder participation where employees are positioned as active agents in hazard identification and risk prevention. The second is Visible Safety Leadership, which calls on leaders to move beyond administrative oversight and actively model safe behaviors on the ground. Deva Dharmapuspa, Head of Supply Chain, Quality, Health & Safety, and Materials Innovation at Dynapack Asia, emphasized that sustained safety performance depends on leadership credibility built through consistent engagement and transparent communication. To operate these principles, Dynapack Asia introduced the SAFE (Self, Activity, Facility, Employee) Formula, a structured self-assessment approach embedded into daily work routines. Employees are encouraged to analyze personal readiness, task risks, equipment conditions, and environmental factors before starting any activity. Complementing this framework is the “Don’t Walk By” initiative, which institutionalizes hazard reporting and near-miss disclosure. The goal is to foster psychological safety, so employees feel confident raising concerns early, reducing the likelihood of incidents escalating.

Through E-Care (Employee Care), Dynapack Asia strengthens its role as a supportive catalyst, ensuring structured follow-ups with employees affected by accidents or illness. This includes systematic follow-ups with employees affected by accidents or illness, ensuring organizational learning is captured and preventive actions are strengthened. Such integration reinforces the link between employee well-being, operational reliability, and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) performance, particularly within the social pillar.
Early adoption across subsidiaries demonstrates localized innovation within a shared framework. Sanpak Unggul, for example, has implemented road journey management campaigns to address commuting safety, while group-wide technical measures such as LOTO (Log-Out Tag-Out) protocols and Safety Drive training provide standardized safeguards. Ultimately, NICE reflects a broader management insight: sustainable operational excellence depends not only on systems and technology but on collective mindset. By institutionalizing a Zero Incident Culture, Dynapack Asia aims to ensure that safety becomes a lived organizational value, supporting workforce dignity, operational resilience, and long-term business sustainability.
