This message aligns with Dynapack Asia’s Sustainability Targets 2030, including its commitment to reducing absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 30%. The company’s climate journey is also supported by its alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and its maintained CDP Climate and Water scores of B in both 2024 and 2025.
One of Dynapack Asia’s most visible climate actions is increasing the use of renewable electricity across its manufacturing operations. Since the end of 2025, rooftop solar installations have been deployed across all six countries where the Group operates, helping increase the share of renewable electricity used across its manufacturing sites.
Solar Progress at a Glance
- Renewable electricity from 11 rooftop solar installations now supports operations across the Group.
- In 2025, the company added 3 new rooftop solar sites in Indonesia: Dynaplast 04 (DP04) in Bekasi, West Java; Sanpak Unggul (SU01) in Bogor, West Java; and Rapid Plast (RX02) in Pasuruan, East Java.
- In April 2026, Dynapack Asia commissioned 1 additional rooftop solar site at King Plastic Indonesia (KPID) in Bekasi, West Java.
- These 4 latest Indonesia installations represent a combined installed capacity of 3.5 MWp (megawatt-peak).
- Together, they can generate approximately 4,640 MWh (megawatt-hours) of renewable electricity annually.
- This is equivalent to around 11.4% of the related sites’ grid electricity consumption in 2026.
- These installations help avoid approximately 3,515 tCO₂e (metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent) in 2026.
These investments show how Dynapack Asia translates climate commitments into operational action. Rooftop solar deployment supports the company’s broader approach to reducing environmental impact, alongside energy efficiency initiatives such as equipment upgrades, process improvements, and more efficient operations.
The initiative also reflects the spirit of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Principles 7 and 9 by supporting a precautionary approach to environmental challenges and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly technologies.
